Our Macmillan Coffee and cake sale kicked off this morning with an amazing display of baking talent. Creative staff and students entered their bakes to be judged during assembly by Mr. Kyndt, Mr. Halliday and Head Judge Mr. Fulljames.

Samples were taken, fluffiness and chocolatey goodness was discussed and judges gave their verdicts:

Most Appealing Bake to Students – Winner - Mrs Satterly

Most Attractive Bake – Winner - Ms Collins

Best Tasking Bake – Winner - Mrs Wilkins

Each winner was presented with their Amazon gift card prize, donated by Business and Enterprise funds.

After Assembly, Year 13 B&E ran the Cake sale, dishing out hundreds of tasty treats to staff and students and eventually raising over £160 in the short hour and 15 minute event.
